For lunch the Café offers a wide selection such as Gourmet sandwiches, pies and rolls, specialty sourdoughs, croissants, Frittata, Quiche, salads, and All Day Breakfast, and if you want sweets – well, so many handmade pastries, cakes, macaroons and very good barista coffee. It may be an effort to choose from the window of delicious offerings on display.


Join us for a very laid-back social hour or so for a chat and catch up. Lunch is booked for 12 noon, maybe plan to arrive a little earlier for a chat around the cars.


Please let me know if you are coming as early as possible, but definitely by the Thursday 10th November (General Meeting night, they have limited customer sitting numbers.

2022 IS NEARLY FINISHED!

2023 WE START WITH A COMMITTEE MEETING ON MONDAY 17 JANUARY, AND THE FIRST GENERAL MEETING IS ON THURSDAY 9 FEBRUARY 2023.

SATURDAY 18 FEBRUARY WE JOIN THE CITROEN, RENAULT AND PEUGEOT CLUBS FOR A CPR GARAGE DAY, STARTING WITH MORNING TEA AT SERGE’S AT MONTVILLE, THEN TRAVELLING ON THE RICK’S GARAGE FOR LUNCH.

BEFORE THAT, AUSTRALIA DAY WHERE WE EACH GO TO THE CLOSEST CAR SHOW!!

On Australia Day (26th January), the Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club Inc. will hold its annual Australia Day Rally, which will be one of Queensland’s largest rally’s for historic and classic vehicles, with more than 500 vehicles expected to attend the day. The planning is in full swing for the 2023 event, and this Australia Day Rally usually attracts 500+ vehicles ranging from the early 1900’s up to the late 1970’s.  There are usually cars, motorbikes, trucks and buses of every make on display at the Ormiston State School Grounds from 7.30am on Australia Day (enter from Wellington St or Dundas St East Ormiston).
